We have helped thousands of herniated disc patients at our San Francisco Spinal Decompression Center. We try to do more than just let the DRX9000 work it’s magic…and sometimes it takes more.
In my opinion…the best diet for a patient that is undergoing spinal decompression treatment is a “Plant Based Diet”. WHY? Well…because a plant based diet is anti-inflammatory. The “Typical American Diet” is pro-inflammatory.
Do all our spinal decompression patients take our advise? NO
But in my experience…the ones that do give themselves an edge.
Chronic back pain due to herniated discs is often associated with chronic inflammation. And if you are also someone that is under a lot of mental stress at home or at work…this is also pro-inflammatory.
I want my spinal decompression patients to succeed. I feel like I am not doing my job if I do not address “plant based nutrition” and it’s anti-inflammation properties. It is also my personal diet…and I admit I am biased (check-out my vegan story).
Now my opinion is not well known or shared by most of my peers. But I will put my success rates up against anyone.
Anti-stress techniques must also be employed if a patient is under a lot of stress. At the very least,”Creative Visualization” meditations that are easy to learn and implement.
Hey…if you are going to spend your hard earned money, and time on spinal decompression therapy…why not go all the way? It might just be the missing link.
At least commit to doing it for the 6-12 weeks it takes to work through the spinal decompression process.
And don’t forget to drink 1/2 your body-weight in ounces of H2O per day.
Fish Oil capsules can also help reduce inflammation.
Anyway…that’s my two cents. Anything worthwhile is always hard work…and repairing a herniated disc naturally is hard work. If there is a variable to adjust that can give you an edge…adjust it!
